Tunc Unal

Tunc obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology and Genetics from Bilkent University in 2024. During his undergrad studies he interned in Galen Research Center, İzmir working on antibody binding on cancer cell surface markers and in Centre Léon Bérard, Lyon to study the roles of transcription factors in EMT and MET progression with an Erasmus+ Traineeship grant. Virtually interested in all aspects of cancer research, he joined Şentürk Lab right after his graduation to pursue a master’s degree.

Tunc enjoys playing tennis, taking long walks with his earbuds, and (although rarely successful) solving the daily crossword. He is also interested in all kinds of consumer tech and likes reading up on new products.
