Buse Akdemir

Buse is a graduate of Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, where she earned her degree in Molecular Biology and Genetics. During her undergraduate studies 2021, Buse undertook a role as a research intern at the University of Konstanz in Germany for six months. Following her graduation from Çanakkale in 2022, Buse started as an intern in the TÜBİTAK STAR (Intern Researcher Scholarship Programme) at the Şentürk Functional Cancer Genomics Laboratory at Izmir Biomedicine and Genome Institute. Here, she continues her exploration of cancer biology. Simultaneously, she embarked on a master's journey, focusing her studies on bladder cancer at the Functional Cancer Genomics Laboratory at the DEU-Izmir Biomedicine and Genome Institute.

She enjoys immersing herself in the vibrant atmosphere of concerts and festivals. Additionally, Buse is an avid practitioner of tango and she enjoys engaging in painting.
