Ece Cakiroglu, PhD

Ece received her BSc degree in Biology and MSc degree in Basic Oncology. Her master’s thesis was on overcoming drug resistance in chondrosarcoma cells. She pursues her PhD studies in Senturk Functional Cancer Genomics Lab. Her academical interest is unraveling of cellular and molecular underpinnings of carcinogenesis. Her research focuses on exploring cancer essential genes that take part in malignant pleural mesothelioma cell survival.
